This is my reaction to the Supernatural Season 9 Episode 19 entitled "Alex Annie Alexis Ann" I'm getting straight in to spoilers so SPOILER WARNING. Also, if you ever want to read my live tweets, I live tweet every episode. Find me on twitter @stephtuma This was an old school vampire hunting episode with our old pal Sheriff Mills. It was one of the "filler episodes" that isn't part of the main problem they're dealing with (In this case, Abaddon for the demon side and Metatron for the angel side) BUT it wasn't for nothing. We got to see Jody Mills, which was needed. I love how the writers bring back old characters and don't leave us with unanswered questions. We invest in the characters and the writers know that. They are super talented. Yeah, they break our hearts sometimes, but I think the fact that they have the ability to get us so attached to characters that it emotionally hurts us when bad things happen to them speaks volumes about their abilities.
I'm not going to recap the whole episode, but some highlights are:
-Dean is even more aggressive than normal. The mark IS taking a toll. It is subtle to me, because let's be honest, he was always aggressive...that's what I love about him, but it is noticeable. He overpowered a vampire and cut off its' head after demanding it to "look at me, bitch!" Feisty.
-We got to see where Sheriff Mills has been. She is super bad ass and able to hunt. She killed a couple vamps! But she is hurting from the loss of her son and husband still. She was blinded by that when a young girl who was raised by vampires came to them. We'll call her Alex, because that's what she was called in the show even though her name was changed. It's confusing.
-Sam and Dean are pretty decent in their relationship. When Dean rescued Sam after he was being drained of blood by a vampire, Dean said "yeah, yeah. you wouldn't do the same for me" or something along those lines, so obviously it is something still on his mind, which I don't blame him.
I love the show so much, but I am really getting nervous about this Abaddon/Metatron thing. They need to kill them so I can rest easier. The fact that they're off doing other things while these two run wild makes me SO anxious.

Supernatural Scenes
Another week without Supernatural, another week of my creativity happening :D

When he found a moose themed man-thong on Sam's bed.
When Cas makes a comment about his hair.
After Crowley makes yet another suggestive comment.
Thinking about what the leviathans did to his beloved cheeseburgers again.
After Dean makes fun of his professionally typed back story he asks him to memorize.
Walking in on Cas doing some pizza boy moves...alone.

Supernatural is NOT on this week so I write an episode...
WHY does Supernatural have to keep taking weeks off?!!!! I mean, it's good that they are stretching out the season, but I HATE having to go weeks for a new episode. I watched the first 8 seasons one after the other on netflix, so it was super hard to get used to not having episodes available on demand. NOW I have to wait at least a week, a lot of times longer. It does give the episode more time to sink in and more time for me to reflect on it, but as a fan girl, I really dislike not getting to see my boys kicking new butt every week. So to hold us until the next episode, I have concocted my own storyline of what I would love to happen, complete with pictures. ENJOY! :)
Sam is about to work a case, when he catches his long locks in the impala door. He realized it is time to get a hair cut. (Ps this picture makes me lol)
Dean dresses up and takes me on a nice date.
Bobby gains the ability to come back and visit whenever he wants. He has lots of heartwarming moments with the boys. And makes Sam realize Dean just cares about him so he needs to stop being a baby. The boys make up.
Kevin and everyone else get out of the veil and go to heaven. Kevin somehow comes back as a normal non-prophet and can resume his life. He keeps in touch with the boys, but stays out of danger.
Cas experiments with his style and finds a nice girlfriend. Does pizza boy stuff with her. People stop trying to make destiel happen.
Crowley wants to be more human and gets blood without killing people, also making him a nicer person. He doesn't mess with the boys and helps them kill Abaddon. He then runs hell more effectively and keeps demons under control. Those who don't listen are punished.
Cain takes his mark back and Dean is no longer burdened by it.
Metatron dies a horrible death, is sent to purgatory forever, and no one tells him stories anymore.
The boys take a vacation at the spa to live a normal life for a couple weeks. (The main point is we get to see this again)
Cas and his trenchcoat try to figure out how to get PB&J to stop tasting like molecules.
Dean does some light reading..
Charlie comes back from Oz and fills the boys in on her awesome adventures. They have fun catching up and she goes back to exploring, checking in with them occasionally.
We see them happyand hot.
Dean when I jokingly tell him I scratched baby.
Ok, I could go on forever. I'll end it for now, but I'm sure you'll see more of my storylines soon :D

Supernatural Season 9 Episode 17 Reaction
This is my reaction for the season 9 "Supernatural" episode 17 entitled "Mother's Little Helper" Every week, I live tweet while watching the newest episode, but this week I especially highly recommend checking out my twitter @stephtuma . Misha Collins aka Castiel directed the episode and also live tweeted my time zone and he had quite a lot of gems, many of which I retweeted. He is so funny. The episode was really good. We got to see some more depth info on the situation at hand, especially the origins of Abaddon. There is no way for me to discuss this without SPOILERS so this is my warning.
First off, we have Dean, dealing with his reservations on what the mark of Cain is doing to him. So while he is "researching" aka drinking, Sam is off doing some investigating about murders in a town committed by seemingly normal citizens.
While at the police station, Sam meets an older woman who used to be a nun and was there when their grandfather, Henry, and the men of letters were investigating possessions at the convent. There was a woman of letters named Josie and she looks very familiar because she is now the vessel of Abaddon. But she didn't always used to be that way. Upon finding out what the nuns were up to (which I'm not even really sure what that was), Henry got knocked out and the nun which Abaddon was in was going to possess him. Josie sacrificed herself because she was secretly in love with Henry, who was already married and had John (the boys' dad) So Abaddon took over Josie's body and Josie went back with Henry like normal. Which is how she got inside the men of letters. At the time, they were not super aware of possessions and all that stuff. Plus, they were not hunters. They were there to have knowledge. So it slipped by. The older woman saw this all happen and didn't tell anybody because she feared for her life.
Dean runs into Crowley at the bar. He makes some snarky comments and also some hilarious ones (Crowley has the best lines! "You're lying to Sam like he's your wife...which kinda makes me your mistress
) He leaves to shoot up some human blood in the bathroom and a hunter tries to go in after him, but Dean stops him. Dean realizes he is afraid of what the blade is doing to him and Crowley talks to him. When Dean leaves, we see the hunter and Crowley talking. We see the hunter's eye turn black, as in he is a demon. And for some reason, Crowley was testing Dean. I'm not sure what he is trying to do. I am so conflicted about Crowley these days. He screwed them, but they are sort of after the same thing. I wish they could get along and work together. But he IS a demon. However, all this human blood may change him for the better. We can hope.
Modern day, Sam goes to the old convent where he sees a collection of souls. Abaddon is buying souls to build a demon army because there are still people in hell who aren't joining her side. A nun tries to kill Sam and chokes him when he tries exorcising her. Thankfully he had the incantation recorded on his phone. She eventually knocked it out of his hands and crushed it, but at that point he was able to sneak up behind her a kill her with a blade. He then let all the souls out so they could float back to their bodies. But there are other places all over where souls are being kept so Abaddon definitely needs to be stopped.
Sam goes back to the bunker, where Dean is finally back researching. They don't speak much and Sam doesn't tell him the whole story. At the beginning of the episode Sam was giving Dean crap for being so obsessed with finding Abaddon, but at the end of the episode, he tells him he agrees they need to find her immediately.
Storyline aside, Misha did an awesome job directing. I liked the close ups and camera angles. It was very artsy. We haven't seen Castiel in quite a few episodes, but I think we will next week since the preview showed Metatron and Gadreel. Two other people we need to deal with.

Supernatural Season 9 Episode 16 Blade Runners Reaction
I did it! I'm writing a reaction on time. Woohoo. I was nervous I wouldn't be able to live tweet this episode because it looked intense, but I did. If you ever want to check it out, I do live tweet every episode on twitter @stephtuma
This episode was episode 16 of season 9 entitled Blade Runners. It was pretty intense. They tend to pack a lot of stuff in the later episodes of every season. We finally got some answers or at least mentions about some things we were introduced to earlier this season. Sam and Dean had a pretty normal dynamic, which was awesome. Sam even got protective over Dean, which is definitely something we don't see usually. I pretty much can't get into it without spoilers, so here we go.
SPOILERS!
It started out with Dean calling Crowley, well trying to. He didn't answer. The caller id for Dean was "Not Moose" LOL But the fact that the king of hell has a cell phone is funny enough. "Too busy inflicting pain to answer, please leave a message" Crowley eventually gets back to them and tells them he has a problem. We see that he is shooting up human blood and has an accomplice, Lola, helping him get it. But Lola is really running things back to Abaddon, so Crowley kills her. But we see him experiencing humanity and emotions from the blood. The boys give Crowley an intervention and tie him up to detox. They were yelling at him and lecturing him, which was hilarious. Dean exclaimed, "You just gonna let hell go to hell?"
Crowley also mentioned in a human-blood drunk stupor the first blade to Lola so Abaddon is aware it exists. The boys all set out to try to find it. Along the the way, Sam and Dean call a demon and draw a devil's trap to catch it to interrogate it. Low and behold, they catch Snooki, which was just funny. She is so short, but looked even shorter next to Sam & Dean/Jared & Jensen. (Speaking of which, Dean just looks more attractive every episode I swear. Don't get me wrong, I like Sam, too, but he needs to do something with that hair. I like season 1 hair lol) They ask her a few questions and exorsize her. We find out even the loyalists in hell are ready to join Abaddon's side. Which is not good for Crowley.
They talk to a few people as FBI agents because they find out it may have gotten sold at an auction, which is weird to me. (one a man who Crowley quickly possessed to find out info and the other a cougar at a museum that flirted with Dean) They do some research and Crowley tells them how one men/man of letters is still around. They go to this field where they talk to him (although they can't see him) and he does a spell to open a portal to transport them into his mansion. He sends two vampires I believe to see if Sam and Dean were worthy and they quickly kill them. They tell him they are looking for the blade and after a little chat, he tells them it is behind him. Then he uses a spell to make Sam disappear, which we find out AFTER commercial is just back in the woods.
So Crowley and Sam work to get a spell to get in the mansion since it is sealed otherwise. Dean is stuck there because the guy wants to keep him. He is a real creep. He has a collection of all sorts of things and people and was excited Dean had the mark of Cain to be a set with the blade. He puts the first blade in Dean's hand and we can see the mark burning and Dean clearly experiences feelings of some sort. Sam and Crowley get in, Sam holds the guy hostage, but we find out it's a shapeshifter. While the real guy is cutting Sam, Crowley unties Dean, who kills him. And then he can't put the blade down and it consumes him, but luckily he does. I can see how this is going to be a problem in the upcoming episodes. It is doing something to him and I am afraid it is going to be bad. But at least this time, he controlled it.
They get back out to the car and see someone keyed Baby, which is not ok to Dean. It is a message for Crowley. Sam tells Dean they have no use for Crowley now and should kill him. Crowley either hears or knows something is up because he confiscates the blade and says he will give it back to Dean when he kills Abaddon. But they could kill Crowley with any angel blade or demon knife, right? So I don't know how that will fully stop them. But they do need the blade to kill Abaddon, which I want them to do. I really hate her. But I'm still mad that they brought her back in the first place. I am sure it is going to get MEGA intense.

Supernatural Reaction 3/4 "Thinman"
Can we just agree that I cannot post a reaction video by Wednesday? It never gets up on time because something or other happens. So better late than never, right? And remember, if you want my reaction as it happens, follow me on twitter @stephtuma where I live tweet every episode.
This episode was AMAZING! I loved it so much. I think the writers sensed we needed a happier episode because we have seen a lot of sadness lately. And they delivered. The boys were all most back to normal, joking about old memories. It was a real old school type hunting episode. the type of episode they had in the earlier seasons. It literally made me so excited. We were able to forget about the number problems for an episode (abaddon, Crowley, the mark of Cain, Metatron) and see our favorite boys in action and not tormented. Dean even smiled AND gave us a "son of a bitch"! Also, the ghostfacers were back, which always makes for hilarious times. it was a super quotable episode.
SPOILERS AHEAD...PS typing on an off brand super touchy tablet is kind of impossible.
The episode was based off on slender man, but I guess that was copyrighted so we got thin man. Which also did look like the silence from doctor who. But I'd like to point out, slender man did come first. I love doctor who, but supernatural is my favorite and I hate when people claim it rips ideas off other shows, when if anything, it's inspired by pop culture. this episode showed this well, with a lot of references us internet obsessed could related to. When one of the ghostfacers said he had been punched in the feels, I was screaming "THAT'S THE AUDIENCE EVERY EPISODE!" haha
The ghost facers (well two of them) were working the case, which Dean was not happy with. They ended up finding out of the ghostfacers was photoshopping a lot of the evidence to get his friend to stay with him instead of leaving "hunting" for a girl he liked. In reality, a police officer (of course) and a diner worker were in on it and actually posing as thinman and killing people.
There were A LOT of parallels between the two ghostfacers failing relationship and Sam and Dean's. Which I think made Sam at least realize how much his brother cares. It ended kind of up in the air so we don't know what to expect AND they're making us wait 2 weeks again for another episode. AH.

Irrational Fears
So I cannot be the only one who has irrational fears. I mean irrational in the sense that they are super unlikely to ever happen. Not necessarily that they can't. One of my irrational fears is something that I've seen in many tv shows and movies. I've even had dreams about it, which when you find out what the fear is makes it more creepy. I kid you not I have had panic attacks about this in the past. You know astral projection? It's basically when you leave your body and are almost in between life-and-death place. Initially the idea of this seemed really cool and interesting to me. I did a little research on it, and of course if you're a "Supernatural" obsessed fan girl fan like me, you would know the episode where Dean leaves his body after the car accident and Sam communicates with him through a Quiji board and his dad makes a deal with Azazel to save him. (Wow, those days seem so much simpler compared to all they've been through now) Anyway, I am unnaturally afraid that I will leave my body and not be able to return to it. It's not like I try to leave my body, and I certainly don't think I've ever experienced it, but it really freaks me out. Anyone else have a strange fear of something? (Please share and make me feel better about myself :P)

Valentine's Day
In honor of Valentine's Day (although I totally hate the commercial holiday...well probably because I'm single), I thought it was only necessary to share some Valentine's. And these aren't just ANY valentines...they're supernatural valentines. I opted to keep it fairly clean, because some creative viewers got a little too explicit (and i'm NOT a destiel shipper..ya nasties!), but here are some that made me laugh or die of feels. Supernatural S9E13 Reaction
I thought it would be easier and quicker to write my reactions to Supernatural instead of filming videos. I will occasionally film a video if the episode is intense or super eventful, but in general I can write up a reaction a lot faster and more thought out. This will have spoilers, just to warn anyone who reads this. I will preface them.
The episode I am reviewing today is the episode that aired Tuesday February 4th, season 9 episode 13, entitled "The Purge". I saw the extended trailer for this episode and was immediately turned off. It looked like a funny concept, but the stereotypical midwesterner accent is so offensive to me. I know Supernatural writers don't mean it offensively and it's all in good fun, but a lot of people seem to think that is how we talk. It makes us seem uneducated, which is not true. I live in Wisconsin, very close to the Minnesota border and have never once heard someone say "dontcha know" or "you betcha" in conversation. We don't talk like that. I think a lot of people would be surprised to see the way we live. It's very similar to other urban areas of the country. But rant over, back to the episode. Sam and Dean were finally working together, although I stand by my previous statements that Sam is being dramatic and a big baby.

I understand he is upset and tired of dealing with all the pain, but the way he is SO ready to give up makes me mad. Sam has always been the one to run away from conflict (ahem ran away to college) and at the same time, he is so naive and still expects the best from people who turn out to be bad. By this point in the show, we realize this life was chosen for them and there was no escaping it. They both have died countless times only to come back. They have a duty. Dean picks up SO much crap trying to protect Sam and you can just see the pain in his face. But he would NEVER give up. He knows what they're doing is for the better good.
(On a semi-related note, I do like Sam. I have always been more partial to Dean, as I relate to his viewpoints more, but I do like Sam. And Jared is a phenomenal actor who portrays Sam very, very well)

I live-tweeted the whole episode, as I have been doing the past few episodes and I absolutely LOVE doing it. The fans of this show are just the best. I had so many mentions and retweets and I kinda felt like a celebrity lol. It is always awesome talking about the show with others who are just as into it as I am. And it DEFINITELY helps get over some of the parts that kick me right in the fan girl feels.

Onto the episode, it was a good old fashioned episode of the brothers hunting like the early episodes and I enjoyed that. We haven't had an episode like that in awhile. The end, of course, had to stab me in the heart, but we will get to that later. The premise was there was something that was essentially making overweight people lose astronomical amounts of weight which killed them. Like they literally deflated. Sam and Dean go to a weight loss spa to investigate. Sam gets to be a yoga teacher and Dean a cafeteria worker. Sam in shorts and a tank top doing and teaching yoga was pretty fun to watch. And watching Dean serve health food and overdose on poisoned pudding was just as fun. ("Pudding!" anyone, anyone?!")
Through their investigations they learn that one of the founders is some kind of creature with a name very similar to fish taco...pishtaco I think it was?! I will forever refer to them as fish tacos. Holla, Dean. They are parasites, but she found a way to not hurt people by sucking their fat out. Win/win. Well, her brother wasn't following her rules and was sucking too much and killing them. He even killed her husband, who was a normal guy. Then the brother was about to kill Sam when Dean rushed in and ripped off his throat sucker thing and killed him. They're obviously a lot more to the episode than this, but I'm not going to summarize everything. Dean wanted to kill the girl, but Sam didn't want to. OF COURSE. Typical Winchester roles. Sam talked about how he was a monster when he didn't have a soul and Dean wouldn't have liked it if someone would have killed him during that time, so Dean decided to just make her go back to Peru, where she was from.
Now the last 5 minutes, of course, had to hit us where it hurts. Dean confronted Sam about how he saved him- and keeps saving him- and how he should view him as his brother again. Sam went on this heart-killing speech about how Dean only saved him for selfish reasons. Dean said Sam would have done the same thing in his situation (save his life) and Sam said "No, I wouldn't" </3

Fans of the show seem to be either Team Sam or Team Dean and will defend their side to the death. I guess this makes me a Team Dean because I HATE what Sam has become. From the beginning of the show, we see Sam is selfish. He left his family for college, he started hunting again only out of obligation, he didn't try to bring Dean back when he went to HELL to save Sam's life, he didn't look for a way to get him out of purgatory, and he is so quick to throw his life away without thinking about how that would affect others. Sam is the epitome of selfish. Like I can't even comprehend how he became this person. It really is making me start to hate Sam's character. And I hope there is a turning point in this because I don't like what he has become.
Dean is undoubtedly going to be tested and put up against many struggles with this whole mark of Cain thing and I really hope Sam is there to get his back. If we have to rely on Cas because Sam is a bad brother then I don't know what he is even doing here. I really like Jared and the old Sam, but I don't want to continue to see selfish, whiney Sam. It frustrates me so much. This hits close to home for me because I care a lot about my younger sister, who doesn't feel the same back and is very selfish in her actions. We are Sam and Dean minus all the cool stuff. I relate to the value Dean places on family. I also value it. What it should mean, at least. And that is the whole basis of it. They would have never been able to survive all the things they have if they weren't able to rely on each other. I don't know why Sam acts like Dean Yeah, Dean doesn't want to be alone. He doesn't want to lose his brother. That's NOT selfish. Sam isn't suffering. Sam is fine. He's just being stubborn. And for Sam to say they're not doing more good than bad is CRAZY. They most definitely are. They world would be run by Leviathans if it weren't for them. They are doing good. So his arguments just anger me.

Back in the Game
It's 1 am and my poor vision eyes are squinting at the screen, scratch that I just got my glasses. I'm listening to Katy Perry's album PRISM on my iPod (so catchy, my 4-year-old sister got me into it!) and a blog post is JUST what the doctor ordered. I can imagine doctors actually prescribing that in the near future. Cathartic. I have been thinking so much lately I could probably dedicate hours to writing everything down, and maybe I will, but not all at once.
Since it's Tuesday (well, technically Wednesday now), I would probably usually feel like writing about Supernatural, as I'm completely in love and obsessed with the show. (Just ask my twitter or tumblr) But this week's episdoe "First Born" was eventful, but at the same time not. It mostly introduced new problems we will figure out through the rest of the season. Sam and Dean and fighting, which I'm pretty sure I heard they will be back together by next episode, so it was more of a filler. Dean and Crowley were hunting together which was interesting. I JUST started to like Crowley (and I've got to admit, his humor and lines are always spot on for a demon), and now he used Dean so he's back on my bad list. But Abaddon and Metatron are my first enemies at this point. Dean looks like he's falling apart and I think he needs something to keep him living because right now he's just going through the motions. Although, taking on the mark is almost definitely going to mean bad things. But at least it means more Dean-centered episodes. Not that I don't like Sam, I do, but he has been the focus of a lot of episodes recently. And I'm more of a Dean girl. *swoon* I'm not sure why I'm attracted to aggression.
If you do not like Supernatural 1) what is wrong with you? & 2) I'm sorry, but it is my all time favorite show. I discovered it on Netflix a couple months ago and watched all 8 seasons & caught up on the 9th season via hulu and sketchy websites in the period of a couple months. I also discovered Fringe and Dollhouse, which I've watched all of and also enjoyed. But hands down, Supernatural is perfect. So much more than I ever expected it to be, and the show that got me to be a full fledged member of a fandom. Live tweeting, tumblring (is that a verb?!), relating everyday life to the show...you name it. So if you haven't watched it, I recommend it! The story line progresses SO much over the seasons so don't judge it right away. I don't know why I'm trying to convert people haha. It's doesn't need help. But I think I will write some more blogs and set them to become live later because I am one chatty girl right now.
